I was fooling around with one of the piano combi patches on my keyboard, and through twiddling some knobs, greatly softened the tone to sound more like a jazz guitar in a wide mid-range, a bit like a double bass in the low end, and still retaining piano attacks and timbre in the high end. So I set up to record and did some improv around an old jazz standard and favorite of mine, "One Note Samba."
