A raw cover of a Don Woody song by the original 'Mark One' H&F.

Artist picture
Neo-garage, punk-modernist, jazz-wave, thrash-meandering.
This band was started to provide an antidote/alternative to the formulaic, radio-friendly dross being churned out as 'opium for the masses' and also to pay homage to the bands we really admire for their willingness to ignore conventional boundaries, their humour and their creative stylings.

Story behind the song
This is the original 'Mark One' H&F lineup and this is typical of the early recordings with dissonant, riffy guitar and manic vocals that both totally ignore the original song melody. I didn't even realise that many of the songs were covers then and for years afterwards. Hence I made up whatever I liked for the guitar parts! This track is from one of the first two Upminster 'House Of Rock' sessions.
