This is a new piece for jazz combo I'm working on. I'm debating whether I should throw in some horns, or just leave it as a rhythm section trio (piano, bass, and drums which have yet to be added).

Story behind the song
This is inspired largely by the magical stylings of that jazz legend Bill Charlap. The music, I think, comes partly from a bit of the mood I was in shortly after getting back here to Fort Collins after my trip to Pennsylvania. The title comes partly from that feel I get towards the middle of the full statement, where the music is more reliant on harmony than on melody, getting carried away into realms unexpected.
