This is an experimental writing switching from 5/4 to 7/4 time signatures. So refreshing to write outside of 4/4! Written on a Motif XS with Logic 9, later other instruments were brought in from various sound libraries. Dark militaristic song.

Story behind the song
started writing a drum beat in 5/4 the rest all followed. When you compose in 5/4 most of the energy lands on the one. Makes it good for bombastic tunes.

Beautiful piece.. Very interesting rhythmic forms 5/4 & 7/4 are actually old traditional Arabic forms, I used to listen to them in the Andalusian heritage, still traced in your melody here.. with a lot of modernization of course Great work Best wishes
