Avery (Bass) and Franz (Guitar) met in 2004 during their senior year at Hamilton Military Academy in Worcestershire, Connecticut. Avery was on the LaCross team and Franz was the treasurer for "No Licking Allowed", the school's first stamp collecting club. Their love of music brought these two unlikely friends together. Since forming The Drivers, Franz has acquired his first gilfriend and Avery can now name every captain of the Starship Enterprise.
