Hey. So this is who I am and what I do: My name's Mark Walker. I write songs, sing and play them. Bass is my main instrument when playing out live, but I also include guitar & drums and some samples & loops for the recorded material. I started playing music as a kid when I lived in Portland, OR, and continued on up in Seattle, WA during the '90's and now I'm continuing here in New York City. Right now I perform as a solo artist, but I'm also looking to get a band together to play out live as well. Feel free to drop a line if you're a guitarist or drummer and want to hook up and play sometime.

Lyrics
Hollow Seed I should have seen it coming Life lesson birthed last summer I don't know where you come from But I know I've seen you somewhere I finally came up for air Almost drowned while testing water I never knew that I'd be found By the one who sent me there Inside, so much the same The likeness scares me away Am I blind? Who knows to say? A hollow seed planted inside of me And grows And still It comes Becomes... Wait and see what happens tomorrow What's undone will cast no shadow... But still I wonder... You shouldn't know what I'm thinking The ending just might scare you For all this world offered Suicide was sweeter for her Inside, so much the same The likeness scares me away Am I blind? Who knows to say? A hollow seed planted inside of me And grows And still It comes Becomes... Wait and see what happens tomorrow What's undone will cast no shadow But still I wonder... Will you be here next summer?
