Dale Haywood is a singer/songwriter from Colora, Maryland. After several cover bands and years of live gigs Dale decided to attempt recording his own songs. With the help of several friends, Dale has recorded a large catalogue of original music. His music covers everything from Country to Blues to Rock, but all of it has a heavy southern influence. Most of the recordings were created in his home studio and none of them would have been possible without the generosity and creativity of some very talented friends. Dale continues to write, record, and occasionally perform his music whenever given the opportunity.

Story behind the song
I wrote this the day after I got fired when a pickup truck blindsided me on I-95. Wasn't my fault but the truck driver always takes the blame. I ended up getting a much better job when it was all said and done. Sometimes things work out. When we recorded it I wanted to incorporate something into the song that gave it a truckin' feel, so we used a couple walkie talkies to simulate a CB radio. It worked great but I think we went to that well a few too many times. Oh well, hind sight is 20/20.
