This is music for the elevator of the tallest building in the world. "top floor roof garden, please". A semi-ambient instrumental. When you ascend and finally 'embark' at the very top floor, will you be overcome with the awe inspiring view?

Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something. I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

Story behind the song
A long time ago I recorded a piece of music for the now long gone, 'Coconut Blues Club', here on Soundclick. One or two of you may still remember it. That 'tune' was called, 'Music For The Tallest Building In The World'. This is 'part two', if you like. Have you noticed that generally, people don't speak to each other in elevators. (we call them 'lifts' in the UK).
Lyrics
There are no lyrics...sssh, you keep silent in an elevator...it's an un-written rule.

Yeah, it always fascinates me the way people stare at the floor in elevators, it creates such a tense environment! It would definitely break the ice if they played a song like this while travelling between floors. Excellent production & sound quality, top notch arrangement and guitar work.

Oh, the bit about elevator silence, refers to people, not the elevator itself? I told you, mine do talk. They never shut up, you want 'em to, they don't, they won't. So, you call them "Lifts" in the UK. A half-truth, obviously. Unless you all jump out the window to get back down. I like to start incidental conversation in elevators. Just to be contrary. Well this is certainly most excellent elevator music. I'd be a constant rider on this elevator. Still, mine can talk. Sssh? Moi? I will not be Shushed. I'm American. We're that way, we are. Can't shut us up, God knows. So what floor does this thing go to? Ah, yes. The top one! Shoulda known.
