Lyrics
No sleeping on Alpha 10 Afraid I won’t wake up again Charting out the temperate zone With one more test on one more stone So much for a new frontier But it helps make the time disappear When I start to lose my way The system says “It will be okay” But I am already lost Where the fates have left me stranded And I doubt if I’ll ever get off This tiny, one-moon planet I call home? Dust covers the dry lake beds Not much to see, Just grays and reds outlined in an Icy glow at 117 below I try the radio once more Like I’ve done a thousand times before A hint of static now and then Glimmers of hope light up the screen again I sit and watch the show if I please And pour myself a glass of “anti-freeze” Pen and paper requiem Running low on my oxygen I lose track of the time I think it’s one year since I landed No other sign of life Upon this outer planet And there’s no way that I’ve found To fix a craft that’s damaged Don’t matter because now It’s just another planet I call home…

Stunningly good as always. Superb arrangement, love all the twists and turns, light and shade and ever changing atmosphere. A real masterpiece.

Wonderful stuff. Great lyrics tell the story while the instrumentation sets the scene. Plenty of 'air' in this cosmic saga gives it the space it needs to feel like a cry to the open skies. Musically there's plenty going on but, at the same time, there's no clogging up the sonic spectrum with 'space junk'. Everything neatly placed and arranged gives this a clear narrative musically and lyrically. Nice choice of song and instrument melody lines just add to the appeal. V.Good.

Wow, this one is something special. So "in space", both lyrics and the sound. The chorus reminds me very much of David Bowie. Top production, very enjoyable!
