Trash-pop, guitar rock and melodic miscellany.
Not so much a band as a bloke with a guitar and a laptop, The Smivets deliver a genre-bending blend of pop, rock, punk, prog and many other monosyllables.

A magnificent piece of music from your hand, Steve. The diversity and the prog. elements really make it shine and stand out from the other songs posted her on SC. I sense that many hours of songwriting and playing was put into this.
The lyrics are also top notch. It is about time we find out what "human" really means. It is not about building fences and excluding others, it is about breaking fences and sharing.
Great work, Steve!

Was pointed to this song by Alexander Port, and the hint was worth it! ;)
Great track and excellent music skills Steve, an extraordinary example of Prog-Rog, as always that distinctive Smivet vocals that is a signature for sure!! 1A deliver!!
Cheers to the music Steve,

This one contains something very mysterious. Giving me the idea you are holding something back from the start on to keep it secret for the listener.
There is that very slowly building up, those dark sounds.
I like the organ around 3:20 and the mess at 4:05 (before the main theme is back).
Very good vocals and I like that rhythm. Solid as ever, but for me this track is showing even more of your musical talents. Wow!

Way to PROG!!!
Great mix of intensity and careless outrage making it progressively tasty and tastier :)

Oh my, this is off the charts very good IMHO Steve. Outstanding arrangement. Great drums. That guitar is a smokin' goosebumpin' raiser. The vocals are first rate super cool, as always. The keys are super. I've heard a lot of great music on SC but/and I'd have to say this track is a Masterpiece Steve, one of the best if not the best. Awesome!

Just listening to this at CC... trying to figure out the verse timing changes - 6/8 times 3, 2/4 - repeat - love it Steve! What a rockin' roll masterpiece! Got to go help DB find his jaw now - as mine is loosening off also :) Bravo sir!

This is just far too brilliant - riveting from start to finish. I'd say more but I have to go find my jaw, it seems to have fallen to the floor and rolled off somewhere dusty.
NIC N TIGHT SETH! SOUNDING AMAZING!! LOVE IT MAN!!
