Story behind the song
Monty Norman ; born Monty Noserovitch in Stepney in the East End of London on 4 April 1928. Norman is famous for writing the music to the first James Bond movie Dr. No, and has been credited with writing the "James Bond Theme", the signature theme of the James Bond franchise. John Barry rearranged the theme after the producers were dissatisfied with Norman's arrangement. Barry claimed that he actually did write the theme, nevertheless, Norman won two libel actions against publishers for claiming that Barry was the composer, most recently against The Sunday Times in 2001. Instruments used in this arrangement; Yamaha DD55 drum pads Carvin LB20 bass Carvin DC 127M guitar & BOSS ME-50 multi-FX Carvin SH65B synth guitar & Roland GR33 synth Voice clips; Sean Connery & Roger Moore

Wow!!Talk about power!!! This sound much bigger than the original!Love the guitar riffs, leads and divebombs! Awesome!! :D
Very exciting James Bond theme song, Michael! I like the way you mixed all of the instruments into a frenzy of intrigue and mystery. Your intro was an excellent hook for the musical "Bond story" to follow with the equally great Bond theme ending. This one is a keeper so I thank you for the download to our JBBQ Music Player on SoundClick.

Causing trouble again Duran? This certainly mixes it up - love the heavy guitars over the vintage horn sounds, the interplay between the original theme elements and wild guitar improvs, the whole thing really. Drama, adrenaline, suspense - it's all in here MD fantastic job!

Struts like only Mr Bond could! More twists and turns than any baddie, and all dealt with Q-style on that insane gadget we call Carvin :)

Deadly -'on target' Michael! Bulls eye! Neat how you were able to jump through the loops in time and keep the consistent flows going without breaking a sweat! I guess you learn that kinda stuff in Bond school ;) Masterful work!
