Story behind the song
we have several versions of this song of which we did two years ago, this being the latest mix as I wanted to strip back all of the band (exception being Gary's original acoustic guitar) leaving just myself and Gary - this song by Buckingham is a bitter sweet pop masterpiece and had FM radio clamouring over it (still does) - have tried to present the sadness, melancholy and gravitas of the original sentiment, which surely must have been in the ether in some form at some stage during the writing and recording process all those years ago.
